Um. Something is not working here. This website is just about as barren as the North pole! Lets get this ball rollin' people! I NEED A BOOK CLUB GOING ON FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Fetch. Meeting? Book? Well, I am patiently waiting. (yes, that does represent a twitching eye.)

You are funny Whit. It sure sounds like you are patiently waiting. Are we going to get together to discuss Breaking Dawn or has everyone already cut loose on that subject? I am thinking about these really yummy cookies that I want to bring when we do. (I don't have any reason to use this face besides the fact that they are there for our use in our posts, and I don't foresee an opportunity in the near future so I just thought I would throw this in).

Sheesh, you move away from home for one month and nothing gets accomplished! I called my mom yesterday and demanded that she call everyone with a date. I think we said the first Thursday in October. Let there be food, laughter, and books!

Whit whit, I agree...this book club is falling to shambles. So what if it's just an Austin/Wahlin get together with a little shelly thrown in! If we are the only ones that care, we are the only ones that deserve Lisa's cookies! We definitely need to talk about Breaking Dawn! Of course we aren't past that yet...I haven't even finished the dang book yet! (Don't worry spaz...I'm hurrying) I vote the 2nd week in October or we could just chat about it at my shower....just a thought. I will most definitely be finished by then. This is about the ugliest face I could find.

Why does everyone keep talking about vague times to meet ("1st Thursday in October", "2nd week in October"). I want a concrete date set and soon before I forget what the heck happened in the book. How about Thursday, October 9th?

That is Brooky-Ray's birthday. I am sure that will tie up my mom with some sort of shin dig. Can we do it on a Tuesday? (even if it is just for this time) Thoughts on Tuesday October 7th? All I know is that I agree with Lisa, if we don't do it soon I may not remember much. I just started my 5th book since reading Breaking Dawn...Characters and events are starting to get muffled together....

Oh you're right Whit. I was thinking about trying to avoid Ashlee's b-day and then didn't even remember all the other birthdays the next week. Tuesday October 7th should be ok for me. Anyone else? Oh wait no one else really gets on this website very often so by the time they do October 7th will have passed. It may just be me and you, Whit. How many cookies can you eat in one evening? Er, Don't answer that...

Lisa...bring on the cookies! Would 3 dozen cookies be too much? LOL. But seriously.....after all, I only benefit from half of the cookie...right? I mean, I am not going to go 9 months of pregnancy without getting as fat as I possibly can!

Okay, this isn't an excuse . . . . .it's just an explanation. When we presented the idea of starting the book club, I had no idea I would be planning a wedding. Please be patient with me while I pull my hair out!! Then I will have a book club meeting at my house. I looked at my schedule and I am busy on Sept. 30th, October 3rd, 4th, 7th, 11th, and 14th. I am avoiding the week of Brittany's weddding because I just know that will be a fetcher!! I am available on the 16th. Any takers?? Or, I'm open for other suggestions. Sorry about the delay. Brooke is ready to kill me!!

I can also do the 16th.... those are probably like the only 2 days this month I could do it. So....lets try to make one of those work! And Lisa, Your still bringing cookies, right?

Yeah, I will still bring the cookies if they don't go stale before we meet. Anyway, the 16th sounds fine to me. Now that it is past September 25th Thursday nights are bad for me anyway, unless we can watch The Office while we talk about our books.
